The Jaycees provide several different ways that local chapters can recognize their members’ outstanding achievements and service to the Jaycees. Jaycees also take notice when young people who are not yet members of the Jaycees make positive impacts on their communities, countries and classrooms. Aside from awards that individual chapters may bestow upon their own members and members of the public, the following honors and recognitions are also available.
Quarterly Awards – Awards presented by the Virginia Jaycees at each quarterly state meeting
Annual Awards – Awards presented by the Virginia Jaycees at the Annual Meeting in January
Life Member Association – The highest honor that a Jaycee may receive from the state organization.
U.S. Jaycee Ambassadorship – The highest honor that a Jaycee can receive from the United States Junior Chamber.
Virginia JCI Senate – The highest honor that a Jaycee can receive from the International Organization. Less than 1/10 of 1% of Jaycee members ever receive Senator Status.
